What types of computer problems can be addressed?

What problems require in-person troubleshooting?

Resolving network or Internet outages, replacing cables or hardware, and general Operating System failures require hands-on assistance. If the computer is running very slowly (which will have been obvious far before you read this), remote assistance won't be much help. Sometimes starting the computer in "Safe mode with networking" (XP) will allow remote assistance.

Is it safe?

You remain in total control at all times. The connection is made by installing a small, secure, one-time-use software program from a secure website. There is nothing to buy or permanently install. There are no back doors left open. no programs or remnants left running to nag you, and no long term contracts, renewals, or difficult online purchases.

How much does it cost?

The initial telephone discussion and analysis takes only a few minutes and is free of charge. If you're an established customer, no pre-payment is needed as standard billing applies. Otherwise, payment will be requested before the troubleshooting session begins, and time will begin to accrue upon confirmation of payment.
