Services are payable at the time of service, and payment is due when services are performed. As a courtesy, an invoice may be provided to you in lieu of a request for immediate payment. Invoices do not offer or extend credit, and full payment is due within 15 days of receipt. Retainers and payment by credit cards may be available by prior request.

If an invoice is not paid within 30 days, late fees and interest charges will be added, and pending work may receive lower priority until full payment is made. While I try to be as flexible as possible and responsive to the convenience of my clients, I am not in a position to extend credit. If you have a question about billing, please don't hesitate to call me.

Invoices and statements are now sent electronically as attached PDF files. Please print a copy of the invoice if a paper record is needed. Adobe reader is free to download and use, and can be found and downloaded here. Paper copies will be sent on request. Due dates are calculated from the date of issue.


Site visits have been largely replaced by secure administrative connections to office computers through the Internet. This lowers cost and improves support. Site visits will be scheduled only if needed and on request. A minimum hourly and/or trip charge will apply.

Software issues, including operating systems, will be referred to the respective developers and we will provide liaison support as needed. Updating software is the first step in troubleshooting. It is highly recommended to keep software up to date, and within a supportability window that varies by manufacturer. Key software should be kept under support contract wtih the developer. Standard rates apply. Resolution times depend on how quickly the company responds, and the quality and knowledge of their telephone support staff.

Return visits are made at no charge if due to oversight on our part. If it is determined that additional time would have been required, additional services beyond the scope of the original visit, or research, referral or escalation to other support facilities is required, you will be notified and standard rates will apply.
